Office of the President
It is an honor to welcome you to ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ, a place I’ve proudly called home since 1994. Over the years—as a professor, administrator, and now as the university's 15th president—I’ve seen firsthand what makes ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ truly exceptional.
Our university is built on a rich legacy of academic rigor, spiritual depth, and an inclusive, thoughtful community. At ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ, we are passionately committed to shaping individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also spiritually grounded and equipped to serve others so we can become who we are called to be.
The environment at ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ is unlike any other. Whether you are pursuing your undergraduate or graduate degree, ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ stands out as a place where people with differing ideas and viewpoints explore profound ideas together with dialogue, respect, and friendship. You are not just challenged to think but also supported to wrestle with big ideas and explore issues of faith with a deeply supportive community beside you.
At ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ, faith is lived out through action. Our students, faculty, and staff dedicate themselves to causes greater than themselves—whether through service projects in the local community, studying abroad, internships, or engaging in cutting-edge research. You’ll see groups gathering for Bible study, participating in worship, and engaging in vibrant discussions about faith and its impact on the world. Here, your education isn’t just about academic success—it’s about becoming a thoughtful, active participant in God’s work in the world.
I invite you to explore how ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ can help you discover your calling, deepen your faith, and prepare for a life of purpose. I encourage you to visit our campus, engage with our community, and see for yourself what makes ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ so special.
Whether you are beginning your academic journey or advancing your career, ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ will guide and support you as you become the leader, servant, and scholar you are called to be. And long after you graduate, you’ll remain part of the vibrant ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ family—connected through our alumni networks, enduring friendships, and shared mission. This is what makes ¹ú²ú͵ÅÄ so extraordinary and why I am deeply honored to welcome you into our community.
